STAAR (Supporting Together those with Autism and Aspergers in Redbridge) is a voluntary organisation in Redbridge that provides information and support for children, young people and adults with autism, Asperger syndrome and similar disorders. STAAR runs family trips and events for all ages and clubs for various age groups including: Youngstaars for 10 to 15 year olds; Gamestaars for 16 to 25 year olds and Out and About Club for 14 to 25 year olds. They also hold lunches, coffee mornings and social evenings for carers.
