The list of possibilities for a 30-day charity challenge really is endless, so let your imagination run wild!
In January many people either give something up, like alcohol or takeaways, but we are encouraging people to take on something new, like cooking a new meal every day, committing to learn a new skill by the end of the month or doing a good deed in the community every day. Here are some additional challenge suggestions.
Just 30 people raising £100 each during January would provide £3,000! This could:
- provide over 300 Helpline calls and emails with a Family Support Adviser, offering vital support and advice;
- provide 45 counselling sessions – currently about two weeks of counselling;
- provide a variety of exciting sessions for children and young people with any additional need, helping to improve their social and communication skills.
So why not get involved and take on your own unique challenge between 2nd and 31st of the month.
Your help will ensure that families across Essex who have a child or young person with any additional need or disability can continue to rely on SNAP. Your support really does mean the world to us, now more than ever.
