Complete a 30-day challenge for SNAP!

To kick start SNAP’s 30th Anniversary year and to help beat those January blues, we are inviting our amazing community, together with our very own SNAP Team, to get involved and help raise vital funds for SNAP, by taking on their own unique 30-in-30 days challenge during January 2024.

The list of possibilities for a 30-day charity challenge really is endless, so let your imagination run wild!

In January many people either give something up, like alcohol or takeaways, but we are encouraging people to take on something new, like cooking a new meal every day, committing to learn a new skill by the end of the month or doing a good deed in the community every day. Here are some additional challenge suggestions.

Just 30 people raising £100 each during January would provide £3,000! This could:

  • provide over 300 Helpline calls and emails with a Family Support Adviser, offering vital support and advice;
  • provide 45 counselling sessions – currently about two weeks of counselling;
  • provide a variety of exciting sessions for children and young people with any additional need, helping to improve their social and communication skills.

So why not get involved and take on your own unique challenge between 2nd and 31st of the month.

Your help will ensure that families across Essex who have a child or young person with any additional need or disability can continue to rely on SNAP. Your support really does mean the world to us, now more than ever.

Check out our FAQs for all the information you need to get involved:

  • Choose and commit to completing your own unique challenge for 30 days from 2nd Jan to 31st January 2024. Here are some ideas of challenge suggestions
  • You will need to organise all aspects of your own challenge, but we will help you as much as possible to keep you motivated all the way through.
  • All we ask is that you choose a challenge that doesn’t put yourself or others at risk and is realistically achievable.

How do I get my supporters to sponsor me?

  • The best way is to set up your own JustGiving page via SNAP’s 30-day challenge campaign – click here for the link 30 in 30 days challenge
