SNAP on a Monday
For parents/carers and pre-school children with additional needs and their siblings
This relaxed pre-school session gives parents a chance to chat with each other or get support from SNAP parent advisers whilst their children play alongside. Children will have access to a wide variety of toys as well as the centre’s specialist facilities. Volunteers are on hand to help and pre-school aged siblings are also welcome to attend the sessions.

Mondays
10.30am to 12.30pm – term time
Cost: £10 per family (optional £7 for 1 child)
SNAP on a Thursday
For parents/carers and pre-school children with additional needs and their siblings
These sessions aim to provide stimulating sensory activities through the use of messy play, music, IT and multi-sensory equipment. Families are allocated one of two courses, dependent on the age and needs of their child. Pre-school aged siblings are also welcome to attend the sessions. It is a chance for parents to chat with each other, as well as use the SNAP library. Volunteers are on hand to help and parent advisers will be available to speak to.

SNAP on a Friday
(Previously known as Funtastic Fridays)
For families with pre-school children with additional needs
A small music session led by a trained music therapist.
Music is used to help support the development of interaction and life skills. The sessions aim to encourage concentration, listening, turn-taking, memory and co-ordination, as well as self-awareness and self-confidence.

Cost: £7 per child
Diddlies Holiday Sessions
For families with pre-school children with additional needs and their siblings
These popular sessions run at various times during the school holidays and must be booked in advance. Children can access all of the centre’s specialist facilities as well as having fun with toys, crafts and messy play. During the sessions parents/carers can have fun with their children, relax with other parents, use the library or speak to a parent adviser.

Mini-Sensorise Holiday Sessions
For families with pre-school children with more profound and complex additional needs and their siblings
This holiday session provides a stimulating, interactive and sensory experience using art, music and multi-sensory equipment for children with more complex needs. Parents/carers can relax together, use the library or speak to a parent adviser.
