Some examples of the equipment provided include; A motion detector that is programmed to send a text to family/neighbours if no movement is detected in the home during specific times when the person would ordinarily be moving i.e. making a morning cup of tea. This provides a safeguard against someone falling or being taken unwell during the night, as family are immediately notified. Visual clocks that tell the person what day it is and whether it is morning, afternoon or night time. Amplified telephones, Tracking devices where people may be at risk of wandering away from home.
