Equality Advisory Support Service – EASS (formerly Equality and Human Rights Commission)
Helpline advising and assisting individuals on issues relating to equality and human rights, across England, Scotland and Wales.
Overview
Equality Advisory Support Service – EASS (formerly Equality and Human Rights Commission) has replaced the EHRC Helpline, which is now closed.
EASS offers expert information, advice and support on disability discrimination and human rights issues and the applicable law, especially if more help is needed than from advice agencies and other local organisations. They can also accept referrals from organisations which, due to capacity or funding issues, are unable to provide face to face advice to local users of their services.
The service is open 9.00am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday and 10:00am to 2.00pm Saturday and is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
