DIS (Disability Inclusion Society) works with small groups of disabled individuals on maintenance projects in the community, working alongside three trained and experienced artists throughout the south of Essex.

The DIS Centre is based at Barleylands in Billericay.

Community projects could involve working to decorate community halls, maintaining an elderly person’s garden or maintaining Basildon District Volunteer Carers fleet of wheelchairs to name but a few. The website gives further details on DIS4U and the various projects they are involved with.
