Enjoying the bear-nefits of SNAP

More than 30 pre-school children were treated to a range of activities including face painting, arts and crafts, as well as songs from one of SNAP’s resident musicians Maggie. Firm favourites among the guests were the springy fun of the bouncy castle in SNAP’s specially designed outdoor play area, and the messy fun of cake and biscuit decorating!

Runners buoyed by sole music

A trio of talented musical groups will be helping runners to hit the right note as they tackle the 3.5 mile Birketts’ Race4Business on 15th June in Chelmsford, raising money for SNAP. Hop-ing to spur the runners over the finishing line is The Frog Island Jazz Band playing their classic 1920s and ’30s New Orleans Jazz.

SNAP brings world renowned autism expert to Essex

World renowned expert on autism, Professor Tony Attwood, flew into Essex for the first time last week to deliver two presentations organised by SNAP. Professor Tony Attwood, a clinical psychologist born in England and now living in Australia, was invited by SNAP to talk to its community of families and practitioners.
