Upwards With Downs is a support group and registered charity that offers support and guidance to people with Down syndrome along with their families.

The group supports new parents after diagnosis at birth, either while still in hospital or at home.

Support is also available to pregnant mums after being given the diagnosis prenatally.

By working alongside health care professionals, educational specialists and also by offering social evenings such as a monthly disco, the group aims to ensure that both children and adults with Down syndrome are well supported so they can reach their full potential in life.
