Essex Carers Network is a network of families caring for a family member (aged 14+) with a learning disability which may include autism and other disabilities too.

They work to ensure the lived experiences and voices of their families informs and influences the future landscape and opportunities for people with a learning disability and autism and their families in Essex.

The Network works to support families to have the tools they need to feel strong, resilient and empowered in order for them to advocate for their family.

Essex Carers Network is a recognised and well established voice of families in Essex caring for a family member with a learning disability and autism, working co-productively with Essex County Council and other key organisations to find solutions to the challenges that families face.

Space to Gather – opportunities for families to get together in a safe space, meet other families and access helpful resources on various subjects. There are Space to Gather locations across Essex and also online opportunities to meet.
