Making a difference through generosity
13th June 2018
With just a couple of days to go to the 19th annual Birketts’ Race4Business – this year supporting SNAP – here’s a look at those community-minded organisations helping to provide life-changing assistance to Essex families affected by disability.
Ensuring runners complete their warm-up activity properly will be instructors from the Nuclear Races Team. With their energetic and boot camp style preparations they should guarantee that everyone is pumped and raring to get of the starting blocks. The Nuclear Races Monster Truck will also be in attendance to lead participants off at the start line.
Fuelling the athletes along the course will be Darwin Recruitment who are providing nutritional bananas, Eat Natural who have supplied a feast of protein packed bars and Essex & Suffolk Water who have donated water to keep the runners hydrated.
The fastest and the funniest will be rewarded thanks to Lisa Sulivan and her KOOL ‘N FIT UKProducts. Lisa has sponsored the first, second and third place trophies for both men and women, and also the first to finish and largest teams, plus the coveted creative one for the best fancy dress! And to help those winners raise a cheer to their success the Shenfield Wine Company are providing bottles of champagne for all those who are truimphant.
SNAP’s generous business partners have ensured that by giving their products and time free the potential target of £20,000 stands a greater chance of being achieved. This fundraising – and runner sponsorship – will help SNAP with its vital and ongoing drive to ‘ Strengthen Families’ by providing specialist training talks and activity sessions.
