Running for my best friend
Louis and Antony have been best mates since they met at 4 years old in primary school.

Then: Ant and Louis at Louis’ 10th birthday
Ant has Coffin-Lowry Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder which is often lifelimiting.
Since 2009, Ant and his family have received support from SNAP. Throughout the years support has varied depending on circumstances with schooling, DLA and the complexities of Ant’s syndrome.
Louis now works with Ant’s parents, so taking on a challenge and raising money for SNAP only seemed fitting. Louis shares, “Antony is a massive part of my life and helped shape who I am today.”

Now: Ant and Louis celebrating
“Running a marathon has been a bucket list item for many years. My dream was to do one abroad and Barcelona is the flattest one I could find. I used to hate running but got into it last year and fell in love with it. The distance always intrigued me and wondered how far I could push
myself.”
“I absolutely loved the event! It was a massive challenge, and I had a few bumps in the road with a hip injury on the lead up. I didn’t run for 3 months of prep and then for run for 5 weeks prior to race day, so I was a little gutted at my finish time of 3 hours and 44 minutes.”
“It was a run for Ant but also everyone who has helped him – that’s all I kept my mind on.”

Louis blew his £1,000 fundraising target out the water, raising an incredible £5,000! Thank you so much Louis and congratulations!
