Local event - The Ongar Singers are delighted to present their “Music for a Summer Evening” concert in St. Mary’s Church, High Ongar on Saturday 9th July at 7.30pm
Local event - Brentwood Cricket Club are kindly supporting SNAP with a fantastic event with PCA England Legends on Friday 22nd July 2022.
Local event - Visit "Nostalgia" Festival of Flowers at the beautiful 16th Century Ingatestone Hall with a host of flower delights and stunning floral installations, showcasing the floral design skills of London and Overseas designers and floral friends.
SNAP Specialist Talk - What are the seven senses (and more...) and what does it mean when a person has sensory processing differences? Sensory processing differences are very commonly experienced by people who have a diagnosis of autism, but are also often experienced by people who have no diagnosis – including all of us at times (e.g. when overwhelmed, tired, hungry, etc).
SNAP Specialist Talk - Parent Time is an informal discussion event for parents whose child is in the first few years of primary school (Reception to Year 2).
Licensed Makaton tutor Debby Auvache will be joining the SNAP team to lead a workshop for parents introducing Makaton. This will be a small group, practical session where you will gain an understanding of Makaton and how it is used as a communication tool and to support communication development.
SNAP Specialist Talk - Kathryn will look at stress and anxiety, triggers (especially in relation to school) and explore tools to help children (and parents) to regulate their emotions.
Participate in the Essex Season Ender or London Half Marathon and raise money for SNAP!
The homemade cakes will be in a-bun-dance once again for SNAP’s Coffee, Cake and Catch-up event.
