Zinc is an arts-based education charity, located in Ongar, Essex, focusing on delivering core subjects, independent living and life skills all taught through cross curricular arts-based projects.

Zinc works with adults with profound and multiple learning difficulties, mobility issues and other complex needs.

Students learn functional skills, delivered through a kinesthetic approach. They build up a portfolio of AQA accredited units and certificates in visual arts, performing arts, maths, English and science. Students will also gain a wealth of real-life work experience and real credits to add to their CV, with some students going on to secure voluntary or paid work placements.
