Overview
The Megacentre Rayleigh is a not-for-profit social enterprise owned by the registered charity ACT (Active Christian Trust) providing different facilities and activities. The centre is wheelchair accessible and has a fully equipped sensory room facility which can be booked for sessions and is supervised by trained staff. Sensory sessions run for 50 minutes, are age and need appropriate and include use of Rayleigh Megaplay Soft Adventure Play. There is a Special Care Support Group on Monday mornings for parents of babies/toddlers who have received, or are in need of, special care, or who have additional needs. Other term time activities include: Monday sessions for adults 18+ with special needs; Wednesday sessions for children aged 5 to 18 years with special needs and their siblings or a friend; and monthly ‘Fun House Specials’ on the third Wednesday of the month.
