Little Heroes ASD Support Group
Supporting families of children aged up to 8 years, who are diagnosed with or are awaiting diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder.
Overview
There are weekly preschool sessions during term time on Mondays from 9.30am to 11.30am and on Wednesdays from 10.00am to 12 noon.
On Fridays there is a parent/carer support session from 10am to 12 noon, where parents and carers can chat to other parents and exchange experiences and tips.
On the 1st Saturday of each month from 10am to 12noon there is a dads club where dads or mums can come along and join their child/ren in doing various activities. Again this is a great opportunity for the adults to talk and exchange experiences.
On the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10am to 12noon there is a girls club, which is a lovely session where all the girls can get together and do some activities and just be themselves.
On the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10am to 12noon there is a youth club for both boys and girls aged 7 and above and this is a great opportunity for the kids to get together and enjoy themselves and be themselves.
All sessions are run from the Little Heroes ASD Support Group Hub in London Road, Westcliff-on-Sea.
