Jump Start children’s therapy centre has an integrated team of qualified independent occupational therapists led by director Claire Pemrick, offering specialist services to children, young people and adults.

The purpose-designed Jump Start Centre is based in Kelvedon, near Colchester and they see clients from Essex, Suffolk and Greater London either at their own sensory gym, at home or in school.

The team practises Sensory Integration Therapy, sensory attachment intervention, Theraplay, feeding therapy, listening therapy and sleep counselling.

They see children with all levels of ability, including those with autistic spectrum disorders, attachment difficulties, challenging behaviour, cerebral palsy, developmental disorders and attention deficit disorder.

The therapists offer thorough assessments, treatment programmes, unique sensory diets, as well as contracts and training for schools and other agencies, reports to support EHCPs and training courses for parents and professionals.
