Havering & Brentwood Bereavement Service (HBBS) is a local not for profit organisation which was founded in 1989.

They offer a professional and confidential counselling service to local adults, young people and children.

In the first instance their work was primarily addressing issues relating to bereavement but over the years they have diversified their work in response to the needs of local people and now offer generic counselling to support people of all ages with a wide range of issues.

Their work covers not only the Havering and Brentwood areas, but also extends to Billericay, Wickford, Laindon, Pitsea and Basildon areas.
