Hamelin
Hamelin works with autistic people with learning disabilities, creating life experiences that make a real difference to the quality of their lives and those around them.
Overview
Hamelin offers Community Support services to autistic people with learning disabilities. They aim to help young people realise their life goals whether that’s to be more independent, find paid work, learn life skills or try different things and make new friends.
The Respite service is for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and their families and carers. The service exists to give people a break from their home life and the people that care for their needs 24/7. This break is also important for families and carers as it gives them a much-needed opportunity to focus on themselves and siblings of the people they support.
The Health and Wellbeing service offers therapeutic and advisory services to help you to improve your mental and physical wellbeing and navigate the health and social care systems.
