Fledglings is part of Contact, the national charity for families of disabled children.

Fledglings aims to assist parents and carers of disabled children or those with additional needs of any kind, by identifying, sourcing and supplying practical and affordable products to address everyday issues. They specialise in finding unusual items, which may not be easily available, or those designed specifically for children with additional needs.

These include special clothing, bibs for dribblers, eating and drinking products and bedding. Fledglings carries out searches for products on behalf of families and will supply them where possible.

They can offer advice on selecting suitable equipment and also pass on recommendations from other families.
