Epic Children’s Respite Service provides home based respite care/short breaks for children and young people with palliative care needs, and their families, within Essex, Southend and Thurrock.

A team of registered children’s nurses train and support the respite carers in providing personalised care.

EPIC takes referrals from parents and professionals and can only accept children and young people who meet their specific criteria.
