Afasic is the UK charity representing children and young adults with communication difficulties, working for their inclusion in society and supporting their parents and carers.

Afasic provides information and training for parents and professionals, and produces a range of publications. Members meet in local groups in many areas of the UK.

Afasic seeks to raise awareness and to create better services and provision for children and young people with speech and language impairments. It works in partnership with local and national government, professional and statutory bodies and other voluntary organisations.
