Action for Family Carers is a Carers Trust Network Partner. The centre provides information, support and respite for adult carers and there is a Young Carers Project for carers aged 6 to 18 across Essex

Action for Family Carers also offers Young Carers clubs in which young people can meet other young people in similar situations giving them a break from their caring role, but also the opportunity to speak to a member of staff. There are fun and enjoyable activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, group games, workshops, fancy dress evenings, quizzes as well as regular respite days out for young carers such as a trip out to London theatre shows.

They also offer Counselling, Family Support, Activity Groups and Day Care at Maldon.
