Tranquil Day Centre provides a welcoming, safe and person-centred day service for adults with
learning disabilities and complex needs.

They provide meaningful opportunities for individuals to develop independence, build confidence,
improve social and communication skills, learn new skills, form friendships and participate within their
local community.

Every individual is different, so staff take time to understand each person’s
needs, abilities, preferences, communication methods, interests and desired outcomes.

They can support individuals with learning disabilities, additional needs and complex care and support
needs, subject to an individual assessment to ensure they can safely and appropriately meet their
needs.

The service is about much more than providing somewhere to spend the day. They want every
individual attending Tranquil to have a meaningful, enjoyable and fulfilling experience while working
towards their own personal goals and outcomes.
