Ellen is an integrative Therapeutic Counsellor and an Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS Acc.).

She provides a supportive and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and able to explore what is happening for you, at your own pace.

Ellen works with adults over the age of 18, recognising that everyone’s journey is unique and that counselling is not “one size fits all.” Whatever brings you to therapy, her aim is to work alongside you collaboratively.

Background & Qualifications
Alongside running her private practice, Ellen is a Manager at Counselling on Sea, where she supports both clients and trainee counsellors. This role strengthens her commitment to safe, ethical and reflective practice. Her qualifications include:

• Level 3 & 4 Diplomas in Therapeutic Counselling
• Advanced Training: Therapeutic Safety in Trauma
• Specialised Focus: Healthy family relationships, Non-Violent Resistance (NVR), and parental conflict.
• Neurodivergent-Affirming: Her lived experience of neurodiversity gives her a deep personal understanding of the different ways we experience and navigate the world.

• Availability: Ellen provides online sessions to anyone across the UK, as well as in-person sessions from a private therapy room in Southend-on-Sea.
