Raw Learning
A therapeutic, well-being provision in a forest setting for suspected or diagnosed neurodivergent children aged 5-16.
Overview
The children that come to Raw Learning in Rochford are nearly always neurodivergent, or suspected, aged 5 to 16 years, and whose school-based anxiety is preventing them from engaging with educational activities.
The longer the anxiety has existed the greater the need to identify and support their differences and help them gain confidence again.
This alternative education provision is offered in a natural environment, at a relaxed pace, which enhances physical and mental health, thereby freeing up children’s minds to be fully receptive and thirsty to learn. This also provides much needed autonomy for neurodivergent learners.
