Overview
ABA services and solutions offers services to individuals, families, educational providers, health and social care, businesses and professionals.
They can offer support with communication difficulties/delays, mental health concerns, sleep problems, eating difficulties, skill acquisition, increasing independence, classroom organisation, behaviours that challenge, accessing the community and transitions.
The above support is offered through the following services:
Assessments
These can be personalised individualised assessments or using specific literature. They can investigate sleep, barriers to everyday life, communication barriers, behaviours that challenge, preparation for adulthood and more.
Training
They can tailor-make bespoke packages specific to your needs, whether that’s organisation wide, 1:1 group, in-person or remote.
They provide intensive in-person practical training for individuals, teams or organisations working in the field. This will assist you to become competent in the specific skills required to be a knowledgeable practitioner, including adapting and adjusting your skill set reflective of the environment you work in.
Consultations
Consultations are customised on a case-by-case basis. Consults can be for families, schools, individuals and/or organisations. They may be online, in-person or a hybrid of both and they could be one-off consults, multiple days or over a set period of time.
They may be related to; behaviours that challenge, mental health concerns, staff performance, a plateau in skills acquisition, transitions, classroom behaviour management or specific concerns related to sleep, communication or being out in the community.
Adaptive Workplace Consults
For the neurodivergent community the working environment can create a whole host of barriers to being able to reach their full potential and complete day to day tasks. ABA Services and Solutions can offer recommendations and support for specific individuals or companywide strategies.
Behaviours That Challenge
ABA Services and Solutions offers functional assessments, reporting, training, consultation, recommendations and general support for all forms of behaviours that challenge. Within their planning and assessing they work with the community around the individual in crisis and include proactive and re active strategies, example resources, plans to fade and elements of ACT where suitable.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
A type of psychotherapy, underpinned by behaviour analysis. The process is Accepting your thoughts and emotions, Choosing a valued direction and Taking action.
ACT can be adapted and shaped to fit a variety of profiles.
Transitions
support with a range of different transitions, whether; to a new school, from child to adult services, from home to home, to a less restrictive environment, from home to hospital or hospital to home.
