SNAS (Special Needs Advice and Support) Essex offers a monthly support group in Brightlingsea for parents of children with any disability or additional needs. The support groups are relaxed and aim for parents to meet and gain support, friendship, knowledge and information from other parents and professionals. The group is held at the Salvation Army Hall where disabled access is available and where children are also welcome. Specialist talks are delivered on occasions.
