Signed Stories is an app designed for children as a way for them to explore and enjoy some of the best modern picture books.  Each book is read out loud with additional signing.  The subtitles and signing can be turned on or off.

It is also a resource for adults to use alongside children with a signed summary at the end of each book and the videos allowing you to pause them to point to signs, illustrations and words to aid understanding.

There are many books available to purchase, including the ‘Off we Go’ range of books about experiences such as going to the doctor, or going on a plane, which can be useful for children needing visual support and reinforcement.  The Monkey Wellbeing books called ‘Monkey has an Operation’ and ‘Monkey has a Blood Test’ are also available.
