Overview

SENSE is a national charity that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind.

They provide tailored support, advice and information as well as specialist services to deafblind people, their families, carers and the professionals who work with them.

Sense also supports people who have a single sensory impairment with additional needs. They offer flexible services across the UK, using skilled staff and a network of volunteers.

Services range from day services, where deafblind people have the opportunity to learn new skills, to Sense-run houses in the community, where people are supported to live as independently as possible.

Communicator-guides offer support to deafblind people living in their own homes and an Information and Advice team provides support and advice on all issues relating to deafblindness.
