Whether it is a young scar or decades old, scar therapy can address directly impacted tissues or wider compensatory issues. Effective scar therapy aims to improve tissue mobility, circulation, hydration, and proprioception and sensory awareness.

Through gentle targeted interventions, treatment can support the reduction of adhesions, restore glide between tissue layers, enhance lymphatic flow and assist in the normalisation of neural input. Clinically, this may result in improvements in pain, swelling, numbness, tightness, movement restriction and emotional connection and empowerment.
