Service Certainty toes the line for SNAP

Four Service Certainty colleagues have raised more than £3,000 for charity by competing a triathlon.
Four dedicated members of Service Certainty— Richard Eadie, Liam Nye, Connor Nye, and Justina Nye — successfully completed a triathlon on 9 August 2025, raising an impressive £3,026 for the company’s partnered charity, SNAP (Special Needs And Parents).
The team took on the challenge, which tested endurance across swimming, cycling, and running disciplines, as part of their ongoing commitment to making a difference in the local community. SNAP, a registered charity, provides vital support and resources to families with children and young people who have any additional need or disability.
“It was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and we really enjoyed the challenge,” said Richard Eadie. “Knowing that both Service Certainty and SNAP are based here in Essex made it even more meaningful, as we were giving back to the community – we’re proud to be part of.”
Service Certainty’s commitment to fundraising doesn’t stop here. In September 2025, the entire office team will be taking part in a 20km charity walk in support of SNAP. Supporters can contribute to the cause by visiting: Service Certainty™ 20k Walk – fundraising for SNAP is fundraising for SNAP
The fundraising efforts reflect Service Certainty’s core values of teamwork, resilience, and community spirit. This achievement not only highlights the physical and mental dedication of the participants but also strengthens the company’s partnership with SNAP, which continues to make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
Sara Clifton, Fundraising Manager at SNAP said, “I am blown away by the passion and generosity of the Service Certainty team. Not only in taking on the colossal challenge of completing a sprint triathlon but then following it up with a 20k walk!? They are just incredible! I am hugely grateful for everything they are doing to raise awareness and funds for SNAP. We’re working with about 5,000 Essex families who have a child with any additional need or disability; so every single shout out, social post shared, pound and penny raised makes such a difference. We really could not be here for so many families without the help of extraordinary people in our community like the Service Certainty team. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who supported them and congratulations again to you all!”
“Service Certainty extends sincere thanks to all colleagues, clients, friends, and supporters who donated and encouraged the team throughout their training and on race day,” said Richard.
