Neurodevelopmental Pathway Coordinators for North East Essex
Providing a pathway of care, which will enable children, young people and families to thrive, and offering early and individual support at any point of your pathway journey whether it be health, care, or education.
Overview
This role is part of the Essex Child and Family Wellbeing service.
The coordinators aim to provide individual support through signposting and advice, working alongside the health visitor, school nurse or other professional.
The role is not to work face to face with the child or young person.
In this way it is hoped that the families receive specific timely support, which enables the family to thrive and for the child or young person to have the support in place when required.
Neurodevelopmental Coordinators are there to help by being the key link, serving as a single point of access in coordinating information until you feel your needs have been met.
They are available Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and you can contact them on a freephone number; 0300 247 0015, just ask for the Neurodevelopmental Coordinators Team.
Alternatively you can email them on vcl.essexne-neurocoord@nhs.net
