United in Kind is bringing people together across Essex to tackle loneliness and isolation through acts of kindness.

Together with hundreds of community, charity and voluntary groups around Essex, they’re building an online community of kindness and helping people connect with friends, neighbours and strangers. They are working together to help everyone overcome feelings of isolation.

This social movement is inspiring people to be kind and support each other, even when they can’t be together in the same physical space.

Each district of Essex has a dedicated United in Kind Coach who will be working to reduce isolation and loneliness over the next two years.

Contact your local coach for help in starting activities in your own area, if you would like to volunteer as a Community Champion or if you know a person who would benefit from signposting to activities near them, that can help them to be better connected to their community.
