This wheelchair service is available to patients registered with GPs in the Brentwood area only.

The team consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, technical instructors and rehabilitation engineering staff, supported by administrators.

Wheelchairs are available to people of all ages with long term mobility needs, who require a wheelchair for both indoor and outdoor use.

Following assessment, equipment may be provided including:

• manual wheelchairs
• specialist children’s buggies
• powered wheelchairs for indoor and indoor/outdoor independent use
• wheelchair accessories
• wheelchair cushions
• supportive seating systems for wheelchairs
