Hilary Needham is SNAP's Manager and runs the charity with the support of a small team of staff and around 115 volunteers.

Many volunteers have been at SNAP for a number of years, working with the parent and pre-school children group. Currently we have volunteers working with our children and young people's activities, both during term time, after school and in the school holidays. Some volunteers help with office duties and others support 'Friends of SNAP', the fundraising arm of the charity.

Eight trustees sit on our Executive Committee, which has a balanced mix of parents of children with disabilities and members of the community with experience in finance, business, law, education and disability.

SNAP's services have grown rapidly over recent years because we have responded to the needs of Essex families. The work of our staff, trustees and volunteers will enable us to continue to provide a lifeline to parents and carers of children with special needs and disabilities.
