Tanya Cotier, an autism and social communication specialist teacher, will be joining SNAP to help families understand how to support children on the spectrum with difficulties they may experience with food and eating.
This practical and interactive workshop will explore characteristics of autism that may provide challenges for healthy eating habits. Tanya will then share strategies to help overcome these difficulties and encourage a varied diet.
Please note: This is not a substitute for medical advice. If you are concerned about your child’s eating behaviour or nutritional intake contact your GP or other health professionals.
