Children aged 5-years-old were invited to enter a competition on the theme of the 12 days of Christmas created by long-standing SNAP business supporter – Bennetts. The 12 days of Christmas themed competition started on Thursday 3rd December and is now closed. The children were required to create an entry in one of the following categories:
- Write a short story about your days of Christmas
- Make a 1-12 Christmas list of your Christmas favorites. This could be your favorite food, activity, film etc. Don’t forget to say why you love them!
- 12 Days of Christmas Song represented by different items you can find and stick onto a page.
Due to the new Covid-19 restrictions the announcement of the winning entries has been delayed. Despite the delays all the entries have now been received and the judging process is underway! For updates check this page and our social media platforms.
There are two prizes categories, one for 5-7 year old and one for children aged 8 years and over.
The winning entries and three runners up prizes will be judged by Natasha, the owner of the Chicken and Frog book store in Brentwood. The prizes will also selected by Natasha.
Bennetts are supporting SNAP Charity with this Christmas 2020 Event. For every entry received they have pledged to donate £5.00 to SNAP Charity in Brentwood up to the total value of £1,000.00.
