Welcome Ellie!

We are so happy to announce we have a new SNAP ambassador, Ellie Taylor!
Comedian and presenter, Ellie, grew up in Essex. We met Ellie while she trained in The Nightingale Centre next door to The SNAP Centre during her time on Strictly Come Dancing with her professional dancer, Johannes Radebe.
Ellie popped down to The SNAP Centre during ‘SNAP on a Friday’ to hear more about the charity and have a tour of our awesome building with our inspirational CEO, Karen.
During this session, our pre-school families took part in ‘Shake Your Pom Poms’, a brilliantly fun and inclusive way for our pre-schoolers to celebrate, move, and make some noise for SNAP that featured in our first Awareness Week back in 2019!
We are so incredibly grateful to Ellie for supporting SNAP and excited to have her alongside us as we continue to grow!
Ellie shared, “SNAP is such a wonderful charity local to where I grew up. Firstly, I’ve got friends who have used their services, and they have been absolutely invaluable. And from another personal note, when Johannes and I were training for Strictly, we would train in the hall right next to their offices and they were the loveliest cheerleaders for us. They’re an incredible, very small, charity which is vitally important to Essex families.”
