Sold out quiz makes a great start to SNAP’s 2023
SNAP held its annual January quiz night on Friday 27th January at The Nightingale Centre, Warley, located next to the organisation’s home, The SNAP Centre.

The SNAP Centre opened its doors recently to families, friends and supporters as more than 150 guests attended SNAP’s first Coffee, Cake and Catch-up event since the pandemic.
Following our previous coffee mornings for parents of daughters with ASD, we hosted our first specific coffee morning for parents with sons on the autism spectrum. 48 parents attended this event with sons ranging in age from 2 to 15 years old, each with their own individual strengths and challenges.
Sharing the news of SNAP’s work and how the charity puts families first, the second issue of SNAP Matters is now out. We talk to one family about how SNAP has changed their lives, look at the issue of cyber safety and detail fundraising opportunities available in 2018.

The homemade cupcakes will be in a-bun-dance once again for SNAP’s Coffee, Cake and Catch-up event on Wednesday, 8th November 2017. Families, friends, volunteers and supporters are all invited drop-in to our annual get-together between 11.00am and 2.00pm.
The old pound coin will cease to be legal tender on 15 October, 2017 and after this date shops, restaurants and other businesses will not accept it, but SNAP has a valuable use for these coins if supporters could donate them to the charity.
SNAP’s annual Golf Day takes place on Friday 29th September and we’re already a ‘fairway’ towards sponsoring each golf hole; now we just need a few final caring businesses to make our fundraising go with a swing by ensuring all 18 holes are taken!
Joy Baker took part in the Thames Bridges Challenge last year with her husband Ian and relished the opportunity to give to her local community. “I’ve known about SNAP since it began in 1994 as I know the charity’s founder, Hilary Needham.
Last year Steve had a blast when he took part in the mud-filled Nuclear Blast event at the Kelvedon Hatch Nuclear Bunker site. Now he’s ready to take part in another challenge at the same venue and looking forward to this year’s Nuclear Fallout.
