It is an independent charity set up under the Health & Social Care Act 2012.
Good or bad, they want to hear your views on the care you receive in Essex. Their work covers all areas of health and social care. They undertake high-quality research and engagement to uncover your lived experience of services.
Healthwatch Essex can also help you find out about and access health and social care services through an information and signposting service. You can share your experience or ask them questions by calling or texting.
They often have opportunities for volunteers to join them on specific projects to help shape services in their area.
