Sibs is a charity representing the needs of siblings of disabled people. Sibs provides support for siblings of all ages who are growing up with or who have grown up with a brother or sister with any disability.

Sibs is a charity representing the needs of siblings of disabled people. Sibs provides support for siblings of all ages who are growing up with or who have grown up with a brother or sister with any disability, long term chronic illness, or life limiting condition. There is a phone and email service for adult siblings, support via an online forum as well as workshops regarding adult sibling issues. Sibs also provides support to young siblings (children and young people) from 6 to 17 years on any sibling issue via the Young Sibs website. Young Sibs is for children and young people who have a brother or sister who is disabled, has special educational needs or a serious long-term condition. Young Sibs offers workshops for siblings on understanding their brother or sister’s disability and on coping strategies for dealing with difficult sibling’s issues. Sibs UK has a parenting sibling’s phone service for parents to help them support siblings with sibling issues such as giving attention, explaining disability, and dealing with siblings’ feelings as well as offering workshops for parents on supporting siblings.
