Inclusive Communication Essex (ICE) is part of the Essex Learning Disability Partnership within the NHS and offers Essex-wide training packages that teaches the families and carers of adults with learning disabilities how to use a variety of different forms of communication.

This helps those with learning disabilities to understand and be understood, and become fully involved in their life plans by taking their communication needs into account.

ICE offers a loan service of specialist DVDs, books and equipment.

ICE also offers access to Photosymbols software and the ability to make documents easy read using pictures and symbols.
