Essex Libraries offers picture books with textures to feel, books in large print, stories and rhymes on audio CD and cassette, DVDs including subtitled, closed caption and audio described as well as music CDs. If a child has a learning or physical disability which makes reading print difficult, they are entitled to an access ticket which allows them to borrow any of the above items free of charge. Every library has a parent’s collection including a wide range of books to support parents and carers.
