AFK is the working name for Action for Kids Charitable Trust, and helps disabled children and young people to live independent and fulfilling lives.
The national charity helps to prepare young people with learning disabilities and autism aged 14 to 25 for life after school through accredited education, training and work experience programmes.
They also provide mobility equipment not available on the NHS to disabled children and young people up to age 25 across the UK.
