Even the diagnostic criteria is still heavily weighted to recognise certain behaviours and traits that girls often don’t show. \nThis course aims to explore how and why girls may present differently\, and why some girls might receive incorrect or incomplete diagnoses making it difficult to access appropriate support and identify effective strategies. We will also consider how to encourage greater understanding and empathy\, as well as looking at the behaviours that can challenge our thinking and create worry and concern for girls.
