Tanya and Kathryn, autism specialist teachers, will be presenting an overview of how to use The Zones of Regulation to help children develop social, emotional and sensory regulation.
The Zones of Regulation is a practical guide which is designed to help children and young people self-regulate and build emotional control. Designed by occupational therapist Leah Kuypers, it combines a range of visual, practical and sensory strategies to help teach children to identify and regulate their emotions.
Used in many schools across Essex, these strategies can be easily adapted for use at home and are suitable for children of primary school age and up.
