World renowned expert on autism, Professor Tony Attwood, flew into Essex for the first time last week to deliver two presentations organised by SNAP. Professor Tony Attwood, a clinical psychologist born in England and now living in Australia, was invited by SNAP to talk to its community of families and practitioners.
George, a pupil at St John Payne School in Chelmsford, not only made sure the event took place, he took on the role of quiz master and helped write the questions for the friends, family, fellow pupils and staff who attended.
It’s ten years since SNAP moved into its purpose built centre and for one young girl in particular, the 17th May 2007 was a very special day.
