Although the children enjoy the activities, I have benefited so much from being able to talk to other parents and access support for me.

It is such a warm and friendly place and we can sit and relax with a coffee knowing both children are so happy - we never get a chance to do this anywhere else.

As the countdown to Christmas enters the last couple of weeks, SNAP has created a Christmas Survival Guide full of information, tips and ideas to help make the Christmas period less stressful for all the family.
Over the last few weeks we have been publishing Information Guides covering the following topics:
* Gifts
* Decorations
* Food
* Visuals and Timetables
* Activities and Events
* Makaton, Braille and BSL Resources
* Festive Apps
* Parent Tips
We have now brought all our Information Guides into one Christmas package. If you haven't had an opportunity to see it yet, then we really recommend you take a few moments to browse the pages as it is an invaluable resource for the festive season. Click on the link below to view the full guide.
In the meantime, please find below details of the Christmas closure period for The SNAP Centre. If you need to speak to someone while our helpline is closed, we have listed national helplines that you may find useful.
SNAP will be closed from 5.00pm on Wednesday 20th December and will re-open on Tuesday 2nd January 2018.
Everyone at SNAP wishes you a happy and peaceful Christmas and we send you all our very best wishes for 2018.
