RADLETT LODGE SHORT BREAKS is run by the National Autistic Society and offers short breaks for children (up to age 16) with autistic spectrum disorders, at weekends and during school holidays. Radlett Lodge is sited just outside St Albans, Hertfordshire and offers a homely atmosphere with excellent facilities including a soft play room, sensory room, library, gym, art room, teaching kitchen and three large playgrounds. RAGS (Romford Autistic Group Support) is a support group set up by parents of autistic children attending schools within Havering. There are four groups within RAGS: the Parents Group, the Sib Club, the High Dependency Autistic Group and the High Functioning Autism Group. All groups meet fortnightly at Ravensbourne Special Needs School in Harold Hill, Romford between 6pm and 8pm. Parents are welcome to attend the Parents Group even if their child does not have a place in one of the children's groups.

ROYAL LONDON SOCIETY FOR THE BLIND assists visually impaired people. It provides a specialist nursery from the age of 3 years. Dorton House School provides support for parents and a complete education for children with visual impairment up to the age of 16. The Dorton College of Further Education enables students to study a range of courses. Education within the school includes both the National Curriculum and skills for independent living.

RUNNYMEDE SWIMMING CLUB SWIMABILITY SQUAD is a special swimming squad for children with physical and/or learning difficulties aged 8 and over. The coaches work with the swimmers to develop their confidence and improve their swimming techniques according to individual needs. The children need to be confident in deep water. The squad meets on Saturdays from 1pm to 2pm.
