Therapeutic Thursdays are sessions for pre-school children with special needs and run as termly courses to provide a stimulating interactive and sensory experience for the children, using art, music, multi-sensory equipment and IT.

'Art and Messy Play'

Experience messy, tactile, creative art and play.


'Sensory Room'

Children can explore this stimulating, interactive sensory world.


'Music Area'

With support your child will try out new instruments and experience the sounds they can produce.


'IT Suite'

Try out the wonderful interactive software and touch screens.  Experiment with different keyboards, mice and switches to encourage co-ordination and communication.


'Communication Through Touch & Sound Beam'

You and your child will be guided through these tactile, sensory activities.  There will also be the opportunity for your child to experience using the Sound Beam.


Therapeutic Thursday is run in courses and needs to be booked.  Cost £3.00 per session, payable in advance.  If you would like to register an interest in attending, contact The SNAP Centre.
